The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has appealed the citizens to pay the property tax on time. The PMC has decided to accept property tax bills even on holidays. The PMC has appealed that property owners, who have not received their property tax bills, or have complains with the bills, should contact the PMC tax department on 020-25501183, 25501185 during office hours.
The PMC headquarters at Shivajinagar and the citizen facilitation centres will remain open on all days, including Sundays. The first installment of the property tax for 2011-12 has to be paid before May 31, 2011, and the second installment before December 31, 2011. The PMC has appointed an agency to distribute property tax bills.
